Our technology - Wing®

Through numerous scientific experiments carried out by WingAudio®, it has been demonstrated that the insulation is the most significant cause of degradation in the transmission of an audio signal over a wire.

This undeniable evidence shows the feedback influence of the disturbance of the insulation on the signal carried by the current flowing in the conductor.

This entirely novel approach has led WingAudio® to file patents, and makes it possible to design cables delivering a signal almost identical to that delivered by a bare cable. The result is extreme neutrality in signal transmission.

All our cables are fitted with Wing® technology, the property of WingAudio®.

Our leather sheaths

Our leather sheaths are manufactured by one of the best leather-goods makers in France, holder of the “EPV” label, Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company).

The material is bovine leather, selected for its quality, strength and stability over time. It also offers perfect acoustic neutrality for our audio cables.
The making combines traditional and modern techniques.

Cutting is thus done both by hand and with a digital cutting machine for precision. The thickness is controlled to 1/10 mm during the “splitting” of the leather.
Markings are applied by hot-foil stamping, then the stitching is done with a saddle stitch, in the great tradition of leatherwork.

Finally, for the “top-of-the-range” models, the edge is polished and tinted, to add a touch of “haute couture” luxury to the finish.
